From what I experienced of the maids in India she'll likely do a hell of a lot better job and show up when she's supose to. First the job, then the maid...here we call them house keepers. As for the gardener and the cook you might need a second job to afford that. But look at it this way-most people-including you-had the option of doing away with all the help and relying instead on dishwashers and vacuum cleaners.
